Maud's Place

Stafford's Place
Themed after the quiet, reflective poetry of William Stafford, this sanctuary is a place for stillness. Built for the observer, it invites you to listen to the silence between the words and the rhythm of the wind. A sanctuary where nature and words meet in humble, artisanal comfort.

Each tent is furnished with a high-quality queen bed, organic linens, and artisanal textiles. Solar-powered warmth and a private writing desk provide the perfect corner for rest or creative release.

What’s included?
Both the Maud and Stafford sites feature a queen bed, artisan linens, and private fire pits. While their themes differ—one vibrant and folk-inspired, the other quiet and poetic—the high level of comfort remains the same.
Bathrooms & Facilities
Rest easy with our clean, eco-friendly composting toilet and shared hot shower, both located just a short wander from your chosen creative retreat site.
Farm-to-Table Meals
Fresh breakfast baskets featuring seasonal produce from the farm are delivered to either Maud's Place or Safford's Place each morning. Picnic hampers can also be pre-ordered for a special farm dining experience.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in for both our Maud and Stafford sites is welcomed from 3:00 PM. We kindly ask for check-out by 11:00 AM to allow us time for artisanal cleaning of these creative retreats before the next guests arrive.
